Rock Castle Gorgeous

Rock Castle Gorgeous was born from a chance meeting at Floyd, Virginia's celebrated Dogtown Sunday Night Open Mic. Their signature sound weaves folk rock with rich Appalachian textures, delivering performances that captivate and uplift audiences throughout southwestern Virginia.

The band, originally known as Lowbrow Collective, adopted their current name after discovering several other groups across the country shared their initial moniker. Rock Castle Gorgeous draws its name from Rock Castle Gorge, a stunning natural feature along the Blue Ridge Parkway near their home territory of Meadows of Dan and Floyd, Virginia.

Comprised of Bret Hauman, Ian Hewlett, and Betsy LeGallais, the trio combines compelling cover songs with original compositions. Their musical approach honors the deep cultural heritage of their region while consistently creating an atmosphere that brings audiences to their feet.
